St George's House

Hello and welcome to St. George’s House website. We opened in September 2024 to provide 20 places for KS4 pupils based in Brighton. It has been our pleasure to provide our young people with a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow. Our young people want to come to school and learn. They are respectful, kind and caring members of our small school community. The best way to describe our school ethos is ‘Aspirational’. We believe that our moral imperative is to prepare all our young people for their post-16 education. To do this, we combine qualification study, containing a core of Maths and English, with personalised college access and work experience opportunities. To achieve this, we build individualised programmes that meet needs, stretch and challenge and allow every young person to thrive and become the young adult they aspire to be.

It is about love, it is about respect - it is about opportunity.

Our in-house curriculum is supported by the resources of the excellent and well-established Ropemakers Academy. Digital is the norm nowadays - but remember you can always request paper copies of anything you see on our website - and we can provide them free of charge.
