Job Overview 

Beckmead Moundwood Academy is an Alternative Provision in Harlow . As part of the Beckmead Trust, our ethos involves close collaboration with Essex County Council, specialist and mainstream schools, outside specialist agencies with enhanced knowledge our children’s needs and the, voluntary and charity sectors within the communities in which we work.

We are seeking like-minded professionals to join our successful Trust. We are looking for people with an innovative, flexible and nurturing approach to supporting children to maximise their wellbeing and future life chances. We are recruiting staff who can teach a range of subjects across Key Stages 2, 3 & 4 and would welcome applications from those that are able lead core subjects across the school.

Finance Officer - The Beckmead Trust

Grade Range: NJC Scale Grade 5 £25,590 – 26,520 SCP 13-15

Hours:  36 hours per week, all year round working

Location:  Trust Finance Office. Beckmead school. Monks Orchard Road Reports to:  Finance Manager

Term: Permanent

The Beckmead Trust is a growing Multi-Academy Trust and we are seeking a Finance Officer to join our established finance division.

The ideal candidate will be an efficient, effective and highly organised person with a strong background in financial administration and a positive, proactive approach to problem-solving.

Reporting to the Finance Manager the postholder is expected to support the development within the finance division and be willing to undertake further training as appropriate.

The post is based at the Monks Orchard site but travel may be required between other sites in the Trust.

Teaching Assistant (SEN) Level 1 and 2 

The Ropemakers Academy

2 Positions available 

Grade Range: Pay and responsibilities in accordance with experience

Hours: 36 per week (Term-Time Only including INSET days)

Location: The Ropemakers’ Academy, Reef Way, Hailsham, East Sussex, BN27 1FB

Start Date: September 2021

Closing date: Ongoing until a sufficient shortlist is established

Reports to: Class Teacher, Senior Teaching Assistants, Leadership team

The Ropemakers’ Academy in Hailsham is a newly constructed special school that is being purpose built for 80 pupils from 4 – 16 years old. It will offer full time support to children who have social, emotional and mental health needs as well as some pupils with ASD who may present with challenging behavior as a result of their needs.
