At the Beckmead Trust we are seeking one governor for Wells Park School in Essex.
Local governance at the Beckmead Trust is focussed on Teaching and Learning, Safeguarding, School Level Finance and Health & Safety. Whilst the Trust Board deals with more strategic issues, governors guide their thinking and decision making via the local governing boards.
The goals of The Beckmead Governors are:
1. Bring a unique perspective to the board
2. Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction
3. Holding executive leaders to account for educational performance of the organisation and it's pupils, and the effective and efficient performance management of staff
4. Overseeing financial performance of the organisation and making sure it's money is well spent
