Community Centre
As a trust, we are very much aware of the important legacy of Roundwood Youth Centre within Brent. It is our aim to ensure that Roundwood Community Centre, as it will now be known, remains Brent Council’s flagship youth service hub.
The Community Centre centre will remain an inclusive and safe space for young people, offering a wide range of positive activities. The Centre is aimed at 11 to 19 year olds and up to 25 with SEND. The Centre is set in a relaxing and informal environment providing young people with a well-resourced state of the art facility entirely supervised and facilitated by an experienced staff team.
We are very much looking forward to opening the doors of our fantastic new school and community centre in January 2021.
As a new provision at the heart of our area, we want to work closely with our local community to develop what we are able to offer to young people, both during and outside of the school day. We are looking for a range of people interested in lettings at our new Community Centre who would also be keen to work with young people in Roundwood School.
We will offer our facilities hire to you, free of charge, in exchange for occasional small group tuition in school. Whether you are interested in teaching sport, drama, dance, art or other classes, we would love to speak to you about how we might be able to work together to ensure Roundwood School and Community Centre provides a wide range of opportunity for local young people.

The Partnership Board
Roundwood School and Community Centre are committed “supporting our students’ wider social, moral, spiritual and cultural needs”.
This phase is taken from our aims. But more importantly, the Community Centre will share the same values as Roundwood School of Love, Flourishing, Social Justice and Community. This is our foundation and everything we do must come back to these values.
It is in this spirit of collaboration and collegiality that we have created The Partnership Board.
The Partnership Board is a non-mandated monthly meeting between Roundwood School and Community Centre and the providers who give their services to the Community Centre and the School.
The purpose of The partnership Board is flexible, but it will be an opportunity for the following:
- a forum to share experiences, ideas and thoughts in a non-judgmental setting
- a place to discuss logistics and practical aspects of the Community centre
- a place to reflect on our impact on the community and explore ways to further engage young people.
All providers are automatically members of The Partnership Board and will be invited to the meetings. Actions from the meeting will then be shared for all to see.
Meetings are monthly and will take place on the following dates and times:
- Tuesday April 20th (5.30pm-7.30pm)
- Tuesday May 18th (5.30pm-7.30pm)
- Tuesday June 22nd (5.30pm-7.30pm)
- Tuesday July 13th (5.30pm-7.30pm)
- Tuesday September 14th (5.30pm-7.30pm)
